Short Test Ride - Moto Guzzi Grisso 8V

Assalamualaikum Guys

Been a while from updating this blog.  Okay, now a bit odd because i have had the opportunity to test ride a naked bike/cafe racer from a legendary marque from Mandello Del Lario, Italy instead of the other like.

The bike fitted with factory approved Termi mind you.  I first did not noticed till i saw the stamped on the end of the exhaust tail.  

Started the bike. Then an obvious vibe run through my body. Obvious enough than an racer Impreza STI. Even obvious through private parts. Hell it was funny.  The manly Grisso vibe left and right. Yup!!! Left and right boys. This a  90° transverse V twin layout. It is supposed to be vibey from left and right. Rossi would say è una tradizione , un marchio.

Muscled with 110 HP at only 7500 rpm and a maximum foot pounds of 80 foot pounds at 6400 rpm is terrific.  If you think your Peavey speakers is lound enough, think again please sir.  The thundering sound from 1st gear up to 3rd is sweet and melodic.  I just loved it. Funny left and right vibe in neutral gone once you clicked down the very smooth gearbox and pull away.

I wish i could tested the accelaration and braking but i cannot. If i did, the resident would become the main suspect of PDRM I.O. So, i hope i could borrow the bike again hahaha. Who knows i could test ride a BMW XR as my friend just bought it last week.

The back bike then is XR. S1000R will be missed though.
