How SYM VF3i 185cc kills other 150cc Supermoped

You heard it right.

An underbone motorcycle (Malaysian named it "Kapcai") with 185 (183cc to be exact) fuel injected ready to kill Yamaha Y15ZR, Honda RS150 and Benelli RFS150.

Modenas GT150cc? Still no news guys. Latest rumors stamped Malaysia Independence Day as its launching date. We will see.

So how SYM get this recipe right?

Easy. Pretty easy.

Bored up the engine up to 183cc and with biggest  fuel tank of 7 liters. These main features will leave Yamaha, Honda and Benelli far behind with all of them are only 4.8 liter max in the case of RFS150, 4.5 liter for RS and shame 4.2 liter Y15ZR.

I know some will say there is lot of fuel stations now but hey who wants to visit them frequently right? With 2 litres extra you may extend your visit maybe up to 1 or 2 days. Extra always comes in handy when the need come.

Meter Panel

The speedo have analogue rpm and digital info.  What is the most interesting piece is that it come with a digital clock and voltmeter! When you turn the key on, voltmeter will show the reading for a few seconds a goes off. So you know your battery health in a glance.  This is important as this bike did not equipped with kick starter like RS150.  You will get temperature and fuel reading in digital plus a gear indicator.  A passing light also provided.

No Oil Filter
Yes none and the EO is just 1 liter. More savings here. Benelli is 1 litre too but need to change Oil Filter unlike VF3i.  Y15ZR and RS150 use more than 1 litre.

Competitive Pricing
With zero GST now, you could get RM7.7k OTR somewhere in Johor and in Negeri Sembilan. Price in Klang Valley ranging from 8.3K till 8.9K. So you have to shop around or you could contact me to get some advice.  Price is always SYM winning factor giving its good quality product which I believe it is as I use Elegan 150cc scooter.

So go get one guys if you are the type of did not care whether it is a Taiwanese or Japanese bike or Italian bike. You don’t care the resale value. This time SYM has done it properly compared to their strike against others Yam and Honda 115-125cc with Smart Rider 125i kapcai.
