Good day readers. I myself did not noticed how fast i need to change Blade's EO.
Well, the ride to Terengganu itself consumed 1000KM and 3 days ride to office is equivalent to 900KM. Therefore, i bought a bottle of 4 litre Maxoil Ultra Semi Syn at RM97. I save about Rm35.
Naza/Hyosung recommended every 2000KM interval as per user manual and i just keep with its instruction. However, there are users in FB Forum that have done 3000KM interval and so far they are running good.
I guess the frequency of interval depends on the usage of the bike like mine where i maintain the bike between 125-140kmh constantly for 1 hour. So, 2000KM is a good one for me to ensure its engine last long.
Meanwhile, the type of engine oil (EO) and its viscosity also plays a role in my opinion. I have tested two brands - Motul 5100 Semi-syn 15w-50 and Maxoil Ultra Semi 10w-40. In Malaysia there are cases of fake Motul, so i ease myself with Maxoil eventhough i like Motul more.
Sir, may i know how often do you change engine oil on your blade? 4000? 5000?
ReplyDeleteThis would be very helpful for my info gathering.
thank you.
