When dis gonna end....?
Tired of doing this day by day... . I wish i could landed on private working enviroment very very soon or my application to transfer be considered and granted. But i do wish to be back in private working environment entirely for my career progression, job satisfaction and of course a worthy pay cheque.
Been in gomen since 2006 but no promotion as yet and based on discussion with senior colleague our chances to get promoted may in cloudy shape for another 10 years. Imagine a 41 grade for 17 years....that is hell too long if compared to DG and of course the PTDs.
My advice to those who wants to join Gomen is NOT TO JOIN Gomen should your wife or husband working in private sector. It is hard when you are 'instructed' or becoming "mangsa keadaan" to a place far far away (sounded like Shrek movie right?) from your residence and your wife/husband does not have a branch nearby to your workplace.
Some says why don't you rent a room or house there and be a weekend husband? I said very simple "family responsibility is a shared responsibility and every family is UNIQUE, thus CANNOT be sampled with other families. So, the words "saya dulu....", "saya pernah...", "family saya...", "saya pun..." are completely irrelevant with my family and situation.
