No More CKD for Kawasaki
Bad news as Kawi Malaysia no longer assemblying 600 CKD bike due to certain unreported factors. The move certainly affect Er6 series including Z800.
They hinted that sales for 650cc is low and unstable recently, so it is wise to just CKD 250cc ie Ninja 250R and Z250.
Does it means Kawa losses its market slowly due to increase popularity of Blade 650R or even others 600 including Yamaha XJ Naked and Benelli TnT 600?
Honda might even steal 600 market with its CB500 trios priced just-right around 32K on the road.
Interestingly, they also did not mentioned whether the Thai's CBU will increase the price from the current CKDs.
