Stop by at CA Kajang and to my surprise i saw two units of Benelli TnT 600.  Yes, this new boy in town have 4-inline engine and a price that could make XJ6 a bang for your money.  And yes, Doni of CA allowed me to start this TnT and the rev felt tight.  Eventhough it is not stratospheric rev as 2009 R6 but according to Doni, the rev clinch faster than XJ6 after i asked him whether this is normal to an in-line four.

But that was nothing as compared to a ride...well pillion ride at first on a KTM Duke 690 R.  Doni offered me to test ride the bike after i shows him some, well quite a lot of interest to Duke.  I said i was not quite confident to ride it alone so i asked him to ride the bike and me at the back.

Gosh...the pickup was crazy...way crazy...as i was pushed back hard from rear seat when Doni took it hard on 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. Finishing a round around the shop then its my turn to ride it but i clinch 2nd gear when moving from standstill as i still afraid from the first fresh experience just now.

So, there was it, i finally ride a KTM Duke 690R (full Akra system, high cam & performance air filter) eventhough it was a very short one.  If you asked me now what bike will be in my driveway for a long time with given current financial and responsibility -  i will choose either this Duke or Benelli TnT 600....well lets put in the Triumph Bonneville too :) ...i am getting older i think :)

Thanks Blade for giving me a different view on superbike.  Sheer speed is not the utmost matter.  The faster we are, the nearer we are to any mishaps. The degree of excitement given by biking is nothing when compared to the risk provided.  Therefore, ride safe guys.  Think of your lovely wife and kids and whoever whom loves you.
